Canary Wharf

Set against the backdrop of the South Dock of Canary Wharf, this restaurant benefits from some fantastic views over the river. This is a great choice if you’re looking for somewhere that will make you feel special but won’t break the bank.

Choose from a mouthwatering menu featuring pizzas, pasta, meat and fish dishes and you will be pleasantly surprised by the particularly reasonable prices. Despite the reasonable prices, you can still expect a luxurious experience. They even offer a free taxi service for those located within 1.5 miles of the restaurant, collecting you for your meal at no cost to you.

Soho

This unique restaurant is perfect for its Soho surroundings, with its relaxed yet special atmosphere which ensures a great experience. The menu boasts a huge range of dishes that you would expect to find in a luxurious and expensive restaurant.

However, while you tuck into these fantastic plates, you find yourself in a stripped back venue where you can eat at the ‘Chef’s Counter’, a bar which is reminiscent of an American diner, but where you can enjoy luxurious food after watching it being prepared.

One Trip Advisor reviewer said,

“Fantastic restaurant located in trendy Soho area. Small plates which is genius for Italian. So many options – everything we had was fantastic – down to ice cream from sister ice cream parlor across the street.”

For Something a Little Different – Homeslice

Covent Garden & Other Locations

This quirky chain of restaurants may not be the sort of thing you often associate with fine dining in London, but the food truly speaks for itself. As the name suggests, Homeslice serves pizza, but this is pizza with a twist. You can get a 20” whole pizza or slice to share between 2-3 people and the toppings may surprise you.

There are unsurprising pizzas such as salami, rocket and parmesan as well as choices that may not be expecting, such as spiced lamb, savoy cabbage and sumac yoghurt. The atmosphere is young, fun and relaxed, so it’s the perfect place to visit with friends – you’ll also need those friends if you choose to tackle the 20” pizza!

One Trip Advisor reviewer said,

“Love this place and everything about it. Eat here every time we visit London now. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, pizza to die for and really reasonable prices. Look forward to visiting again!”
